IMPORTANT – CH-CH-CHANGE OF VENUE

Hello Forest Fringe Friends,

We are coming to the end of a hectic and beautiful first day at Forest Fringe 2015 with a BIG announcement for next week’s programme.

As you might already know, we had planned to host a series of four interactive performances at a new space at the end of the Grassmarket in the centre of town. However, unfortunately last week we found out that the building had failed to secure the permissions they needed to allow us to use the space for any of those performances.

Reader, we were somewhat alarmed.

However with the help of some truly generous and brilliant people, we have managed to re-house the four pieces and all will be going ahead as planned.

  • As has already been announced Volcano Theatre’s The Black Stuff will be taking place in a secret location with the audience meeting at Forest Fringe’s home at Out of the Blue Drill Hall.
  • Tania El Khoury’s Gardens Speak and the Young Vic’s Now Is The Time To Say Nothing will be taking place at the Biscuit Factory on Anderson Place in Leith.
  • Verity Standen’s HUG will be taking place at the South Leith Parish Church Halls on Henderson Street in Leith.

All previously reserved tickets are still valid for these new venues, and you should be receiving an email with further details if you’ve already booked. If you have any questions about bookings contact ira@forestfringe.co.uk. If you have any questions about the location or accessibility of these new venues contact andy@forestfringe.co.uk.

Thank you to all the venues and everyone who has helped us with this somewhat epic relocation. Our final step is to actually get the shows in so if you happen to be free on Thursday or Friday of this week and want to help with something heroic – let us know!
