Set at Holkham Estate, Walking was a major collaboration between Norwich & Norwich Festival and internationally acclaimed American director/artist Robert Wilson in collaboration with Theun Mosk and Boukje Schweigman. Part walk, part theatrical experience and punctuated by gigantic architectural installations.
Forest Fringe created an innovative residency embedded within the performance, involving a group of Forest Fringe artists working alongside local volunteers as guides for the performance, and using the experience as material for their own personal explorations of the landscape.
The project was led by Forest Fringe co-director Ira Brand and involved artists Christopher Brett Bailey, Ella Good, Emma Bennett, Hannah Jane Walker, Neil Callaghan, Nicki Kent and Simone Kenyon.
