Latitude 2017

You don’t need us to tell you that we’re living in tumultuous times. Times that might occasionally leave you feeling a little frightened, a little desperate, perhaps a little lost. Even here in the eternal summer of Latitude Festival, you might at times need somewhere to escape to when reality gets a little too close for comfort.

This year Forest Fringe are gathering all our beautiful weirdos together and we are retreating to the woods to lick our wounds. We have packed down our tent and packed up our wagons, now we’re roaming the Faraway Forest, thinking about strategies for survival and acts of resistance, alter egos, traumatic histories and our own worst nightmares.

Join us, if you can find us, for a weekend of weird rituals and intimate encounters, performances hidden amongst the trees, or appearing suddenly and disappearing as quickly as they arrived. If you need a little help to get you through the night, we will be here, as long as you’re looking hard enough.

Featuring: Afreena Azaria: Daughters of the Curry Revolution (durational version), Andy Field: I am your worst nightmare, Catherine Hoffmann and Florence Peake: SEX MUSIC, Daniel Oliver: MAX DYSPRAXE's woodland survival time, Eros and Simone Simone: An Appearance, Femme Feral: THERESAMAYSMACKDOWN, French & Mottershead: Woodland, Verity Standen: Symphony.
