BIOS, Athens, 2013
About
In 2013 we travelled to Athens to collaborate with BIOS on a festival of instruction-based performance called Live Manual. Over two weeks in April we presented a diverse array of experimental work in both BIOS’ original venue and in their new Annex in the centre of the city.
The projects involved were a six-hour version of Forced Entertainment’s Quizoola, a new Greek translation of Nassim Soleimanpour’s White Rabbit Red Rabbit, Chris Thorpe & Hannah Jane Walker’s I wish I was lonely, Tania El Khoury’s Jarideh, Andy Field’s audio-piece for parked car Motor Vehicle Sundown, and Gemma Brockis and Silvia Mercuriali’s Still Night, a re-imagining of Italo Calvinho’s Invisible Cities.
