Forest Fringe at Central School of Speech and Drama, 2009
About
In 2009 Forest Fringe were invited to programme a night of performances at the Central School of Speech and Drama. It was the very first event we’d ever done outside of Edinburgh and a chance to experiment with our idea for a kind of ‘microfestival’ which would involve audiences exploring a variety of intimate performances and interactive encounters over the course of a single evening. The night also saw the launch of the Forest Fringe Travelling Sounds Library, and the first performances outside of Edinburgh of Deborah Pearson’s Music’s Been Ruined By Dating. Beyond this, we can’t totally remember what we did.
