Forest Fringe at The Place, 6th & 7th March 2015

We are thrilled to be presenting a one-off microfestival this Spring in a new collaboration with The Place, London. For two nights on the 6th & 7th March, we will make The Place our home, with an array of performances, intimate encounters, screenings and experiments across the building. This project is co-curated by Forest Fringe and The Place, and brings together artists from both communities to explore questions of movement, choreography and the body in performance.

We’re incredibly excited to be working with some amazing artists for this festival. Your ticket (just £15 or £12 concession) will allow you to see Peter McMaster’s 27, as well as one of these three performances earlier in the evening: Gillie Kleiman’s DANCE CLASS: a performance, Jo Fong’s An Invitation or Brian Lobel’s Ruach. You will choose which piece you want to see at the time of booking.

In addition, you will have an opportunity to engage with limited capacity pieces and installations: This Is Not My Voice Speaking by Ant Hampton & Britt Hatzius, screenings of Amy Sharrocks’ film works, Forest Fringe’s Paper Stages, and PRESENT/SURVEY by Andy Field & Nicola Conibere. Show up on the night and try your luck, or you can guarantee yourself a slot to experience This Is Not My Voice Speaking and PRESENT/SURVEY by booking for earlier in the day.

For full programme details and to book go to The Place website here: www.theplace.org.uk/forest-fringe.

We hope to see you there!
