Edinburgh 2014

About

Forest Fringe is back at the Edinburgh Festival for an eighth glorious year, our second at the Out of the Blue Drill Hall in Leith, with a delirious line-up of performance encounters and adventures involving (amongst other things) love, death, internet trolls, fathers and sons, chronic pain, serial killers, Sex and the City, human shit, a piñata, a mirror ball, a real life wedding, the Hungarian revolution and a house falling into the sea.

The highlights of this year’s festival include a studio programme featuring new full-length shows by Molly Naylor & Iain Ross, Sleepwalk Collective, Louise Orwin, Christopher Brett Bailey, Greg Wohead and Laura Dannequin alongside Verity Standen’s intimate immersive performance Hug.

Featuring: Action Hero: Slap Talk, Analogue: Transports, Andy Field and Ira Brand: Put Your Sweet Hand In Mine, Brian Lobel: you have to forgive me, you have to forgive me, you have to forgive me, Bryony Kimmings and Tim Grayburn: Fake It Til You Make It, Buzzcut: 5 Minutes to Move Me, Chris Goode: How Can I Keep From Singing?, Christopher Brett Bailey: This Is How We Die, Eilidh McCaskill: The Conference Call of the Birds, GETINTHEBACKOFTHEVAN: Number 1, The Plaza, Greg Wohead: The Ted Bundy Project, Kings of England: Where We Live and What We Live For, Laura Dannequin: Hardy Animal, Louise Orwin: Pretty Ugly, Molly Naylor and Iain Ross: If Destroyed Still True, none of us is yet a robot: egg/box, Reverend Billy and the Stop Shopping Choir: Honeybeelujah!, Sleepwalk Collective: Karaoke, Verity Standen: Hug.
